WW2 Period United States Army M43 combat jacket  36R
 
The jacket is made from an olive drab coloured cotton fabric
The interior is made from a lighter weight cotton whilst the pockets are lined with green cotton drill. A drawstring is fitted to the waist. 
The front fastens with buttons (some buttons on the Jacket have been replaced)

Original labels are still present
 
When laid flat the jacket measures -

Chest - 21.5"
Inside arm - 22"
Outside arm - 24"
Shoulders - 19.5"
Length - 31"

Crucially, the jacket still retains its large label situated to the interior below the collar. These are nearly always missing from jackets offered on the market today. 

The jacket is in good used condition with some signs of wear.
 Overall it is a very wearable jacket
